I am dealing with the same b/s. the jdm obd2 motors do not have a cps or a tdc senser. I do not know if you have them on am h23. If you do not have them on the h23 you might as well covert it o obd1 if your local emissons will let you. If you can find an usdm obd2 h22 it will probibly be your easiest swap.

Thanx for the replies...My H23 has 157k on it and its in need of some serious maintenance as a result of the previous owner not taking care of it.

Don't waste money trying to find an obd2 engine if you don't have to.

I have a 96 lude and I can have my h22 be as obd2 or as obd1 as I want, its a matter of taking the conversion harness out (for inspection time )

The easiest way to do it is get an obd1 engine and make a little jumper harness to run the crank pos sensor and tdc sensor wires up from the oil pump the the pins on the obd1 dizzy where they plug in there.
