Default PIC Performance LCA vs. Koni Yellows

So yesterday I finally decided to put the new suspension setup on (Koni Yellows/GC's) along with PIC Performance LCA's. I ran into a HUGE problem with the combination. The Koni strut will not fit onto the LCA. The bushing in the LCA is about a 1/4 of an inch to long on both sides. Has anyone encountered this problem? What do I do? Do I shave the bushing down so that the strut has enough room to slip on to?

Let me remind you that the LCA's are not the newer version with the spherical bearing.

You might have gotten the wrong lca, i know that the bushing thickness on the lca where the strut bolts is different between eg and ek, though I can't remember which is thicker (I think eg is thicker).

This would be my guess, though a quick pm to the PIC guys would be a good idea

the EG rear LCA's shock bushing is in fact wider than EK.
BUT, EG and EK rear LCAs are not swapable. The EKs rear LCAs are longer.

It sounds like you have an EG with EK lower shock mounts.

Thanks guys this was helpful compared to the douche bag above.
I had it taken care of. I just milled the bushing down to the correct width. They were for an EG (which I have) but it seems like they were made for the stock shocks or anything else other than Koni because they slipped right in. But anyways, I got everything mounted up properly. Thanks fella's!

just incase you're curious... the EK bushing is 40mm wide, the EG is 50mm wide.

sounds to me like it's an issue with your konis not the LCAs.
glad to hear you have access to a mill and got it taken care of.

Thats why I bought them... I couldn't wait for the Unicorns to come out.
Fruity or not they still function better than any stock EH LCA.

P.S. I saw your name on the waiting list for the unicorn versions with spherical bearings, but I won't tell anybody on here!
