97-98 ITR's have different Cam's???? then 2000-01
whats up w/ that.Are the 97-98's slower the 2000-2001,.. or make up for it somewhere else?(CW hahaha)?
Was curious,.if so,..its easy as swapping cams then,. correct, to regain or even increase power?

No... not this debate again! 
In a nutshell, the '97-'98 ITRs didn't come with A/C stock. It was believed that the '00-'01 ITRs had a slightly higher lift intake cam to compensate for this and the increased emissions on the newers ones.

It's 3 degrees extra duration on the intake cam whoopee. If I was going through the trouble of upgrading cams on a 97-99 R I would probably get something a little more worthwhile.
