Default oil squirters

ok im in the process of puttin my block back together for the h23vtec. Hear alot of contraversy with using the h23 crank not beaing able to handle the rpms and the lack of oil in the cylinders compared to the h22.So i am goin to install the oil squirters. Has anyone done this before. Do i need to install the bolts that hold it down in the front ,which way should i bend em (anyway to clear the crank n rods?).Pics would be helpful too ....thanx

Buy a helms manual. It will answer all of your questions.

i have a chilton and a mitchell1 cd rom manual, and still manage to have questions. Id rather ask someone who has the hands on experience. Because i dont see any frankensteins in the manuals.

Those manuals are garbage. Get a helms.

If you took the time to read the h23 vtec thread, which you apparently didn't, you would have seen that you simply need to bend the oil squirters some to get them to fit. When you bend them, you want to be sure that you do not crumple the piping any. You get in there and get hands on with it and figure out for yourself how you have to bend them.

FYI the 95mm crank is good for plenty of rpm, 8500 isn't out of the question, ask the drag guys.

im just goin by what i read in the h23vtec forum from the faq...like satansrv's point of view and all that. Id rather ask someone who knows what they are talkin about rather than reading the arguments in the forums that u dont know if it is a fact or not

now i got the squirters in but not sure which way to bend them....and do i bolt them down and bend em out of the way? I really dont wanna get the rods in and have to take the crank and rods out a bunch of times because i dont have the squirters the right way.
