do a compression test
first dry (without oil in th cylinder), write the values down
then wet (capful of oil) and see if the values go up
If so, rings are bad
If not, valves are bad

This is all assuming youre blowing out blue smoke

white smoke is coolant or unburnt fuel in the cylinders

oil is always blue
Your compression is fine

your rings are fine
Look at the underside of your oil cap, does it have milky crap on it?
Is there oil or bubbly stuff in your coolant reservoir?
What about oil sitting right at the mouth of your radiator?

Any of those things...its probably a blown headgasket

3rd time
burning oil is BLUE
You are NOT burning oil...

Recommended oil is 5/10w-30 NOT 40
