WTF TPS only sold as part of throttle body for B16(a2)
Need to replace TPS on my B16 (in an Ek) call the Honda dealership ahead of time to make sure they have the part, and I am told it is only sold as part of throttle body for like $600.
yeah thats just how it is with honda. The TPS only comes with the T/B. But there are plenty of people here on HT that can sell you one cheap. Like me I PM'ed you.
i might be able to get you one for really cheap. gimme a coupl days to get back out to the shop.
the tps sensor is teh same for a b16 as it is for a d16 correct?

it's the same for the ignition switch for the 92-95 civics. they sell you the whole lock assembly w/ ignition switch.

They all read the same voltage. The bolt holes should be the same.
I think I have a TPS laying around as well.

dremel a gash in each screw head and use a flat screwdriver to unscrew them, they are blank screws, not rivets or anything like that.

thanks for the offers. I am going to be calling a local shop tomorrow (same people that put my motor in) to see if they have laying around or what not. If they dont I will reply the PMed offers. Thanks again.
If you get the shop to swap out the TPS for you make sure they check the replacement one with a volt meter to insure it's reading properly. There is somewhat of an "adjustment" for the TPS and it needs to be within range.
...this is if yoy swap out the TPS rather than the entire TB.
