Leaking oil

Leaking oil from somewhere (pics)
It appears I am missing a bolt, would this cause the oil to leak as it is? It seems to be leaking decently and I had to top her off today. Is this bolt that is missing the same size as the other one right above it? I would like to just go to a hardware store and pick one up. Thanks in advance for any help. 1.5L sohc non-vtec

Sorry it was hard to get a clear picture of it. Yes it is at the bottom of the distributor. There is a bolt holding the top on which I am hopin gis the same size.

Looks like maybe Vavle cover gasket, its a 5$ item to replace. If not, the seal around the Dizzy maybe. That can be solved with some Gasket sealent sillicone, and letting it dry overnight.

Well I had thought it was the valve cover gasket so I replaced it and still there. The old one didn't look bad at all though. I will look in to the seal around the distributor and see if that might be it. Thanks for the suggestions

no, that bolt has nothing to do with the oil leak. also i would try to get the bolt off of a car in the junk yard rather than from a bolts bin. they just aren't the same.
the leak looks like it's coming from the dist. o-ring and maybe the valve cover gasket. i would replace both to be safe. remember when you replace the vc gasket put grey RTV on the corners at the cam "hump".

Thanks, seems like it is most likely the distributor o-ring. I don't think it is the calve cover gasket, but it is definitely something behind the distributor. Easy fix?
