Default VTEC cylinder head.

How much would a VTEC cylinder head for a D17A1 engine cost? Thanks.

Search.

In the area of $200 for the head, and around $250 for a vafc2.

I dont know where I would search for something like that on the web. I dont want anything off ebay, and everytime i search junkyard or salvage yard sites they always want my home address and crap.

It is possible to put a cylinder head from a D16Y8 or D16Z6 (those are the two VTEC D-series engines, correct me if im wrong) into a D17A1? Right? Sorry if this seems like a novice question. Thanks.

No, it isn't. The D17 is entirely different than it's predecessors.

The D17A2 engine, which came on the 2001-2005 Civic EX's has a VTEC head. This has been covered many times before, bud. Use the search function on the top right corner of your screen.
