i replaced the egr valve and cleaned the port still throwing cel
i have a f22b1 and im throwing cel 12 witch is egr valve and i replaced it and i cleaned the port im idle at zero and it cuts off when i give it gas
i cleared the code but its still running with a low idle like200 rpm and it cuts off after i give it gas
code 12 means the EGR Lift Sensor You'll need to find out if it is getting the proper signal to the ECU.
And see if the solenoid is turning on the vacum to the EGR valve.
But saying you have a low idle makes me wonder if there might be a big vacum leak, or maybe the vacum lines are wrong and the EGR is being opened at the wrong time?

Thats all nice to hear.......Is the EGR valve staying open all the time?

you may want to check to see if you plugged the sensor back up on the egr valve..i did this recently..I took the egr valve off to clean it and forgot to plug it back up therefore I threw a code 12...but no more cel for me
