ok so i was driving home the other day when suddenly my car boggled and turned off.. i was like wtf.. so i pulled out my spark plugs to check them.. well the 4th one looked smashed.. the center piece was missing and also another small piece was gone.. i went to autozone and bought the magnet tool.. and i was able to pull out the small piece.. but it looks like the center piece is still in there.. the mechanic said that that little piece wasnt letting the valves 'close'?? so thats why it would turn off.. i can hear a loud knocking coming from the top right side..like when u shake a bottle with a marble inside.. but not all the time.. the car starts up fine.. but if i drive it for a while it boggles and turns off.. then i have to give it gas to turn back on.. what can it be?? can it be the little piece from the spark plug?? heres a video of how it sounds like..

u might have to remove the head and do some dirty work man that sounds nasty hopefully your valvetrain didnt get damaged / do u run it hard alot or wut and wut do u have done to it aftermarket wise

 

why would you keep driving and trying to turn it on? How many miles are on the car? Have you changed/checked the timing belt? because it sounds like it snapped and the piston met the valve and i'll bet your engine is toast.

 

the car turns on and runs good.. i took it out today and had no problems.. the engine light doesnt turn on or anything and it has 82000 miles.. maybe the little piece came out already?

 

yea i d sure hope so man does it still make the noise or .............??

 

nope it doesn't.. im having our mechanic check it out today.. lets hope for the best
