Why would you want longer gearing?
It shouldn't matter, you're making more power, it doesn't mean you're going faster.
The speed limits still 55 and the fuel cut-off's still 125. This is a stupid question, if you're making it for drag racing then obviously a custom trans is in order, but if you wanna stay w/ OEM trans's you'd obviously want the shortest (which is the EX). There's NO reason to get taller gears b/c u supercharged. If anything that'd be trying to nullify the effects of the supercharger b/c ur having more power but it's taking longer to put it down. Major downgrade.
Keep the trans you have.
EDIT:
PS: Boosting a Y8 is stupid, ur better off turbocharging it, the displacement is pathetically small and superchargers are very reliant on displacement. With a 10lb pulley ur still only looking at like 160-180whp b/c of the **** displacement. Not worth it.

There's a good reason 99% of 4 bangers that are using forced induction are turboed.
Even most 6 cylinders prefer turbos.
You'll make more power with less money more efficiently with a turbo.

as said, turboing would be much better than going with an SC(unless of course you crave absolutely instant power from idle).
and yes an EX trans would be better because of the shorter gearing (maybe put an lx/dx 5th gear for freway driving)

phew, this is fuel for a forced induction debate...

Ok, let's agree to disagree on this one. 6-7 lbs should be about the power range you specified. I disagree on the statement relating to displacement though.
