Default B16 S1 transmission problem

So I thought I'd do myself a favor and take the transmission casing apart to just reseal it. Did not know for sure if it would leak or not so I figured I'd make sure. But NOW I have a problem, when I put the transmission case back together it will not shift at all. I can not even move it back and forth in neuteral. This transmission is outside the car so it does not have to do with a ghetto linkage. Is there a certain gear it has to be in when I put it back together. What am I missing? This is a JDM b16 cable transmission. S1 to be exact.

Thanks,
Quincy

id say pull it back apart and make sure that the shifter padels are not bound up and make sure that you didnt accidentally engage two gears somehow and test shift it with a screw driver before you put it back in the car

I have made sure that before I put the case back on it shifts. But as soon as I put the case on it does not.

Edit- Perhaps someone has a detailed photo of what the gates/linkage is suppose to look like.
