Could you use jd weld for the diy extended top hats??

jb weld doesn't belong anywhere in a suspension system.

show me some pics of where the weld needs to be made though. Just in case I'm putting my foot in my mouth...again

If you can break an adhesive's bond with a hammer, it DEFINATELY should not be on a suspension. If your goal was to form symetrical dents in your hood and ride on bumpstops, then by all means JB weld that ****.

Yeah what he said, it belongs on braking systems, nothing more

Spend the money to get them welded, should not be more then $80 if you bring them prepped

The JB weld is deffinately, is not going to handle the stress of the suspension components.
