Default what kind of temps do you SFWD guys see?

just wondering what kind of temperatures you SFWD guys see after a full hard pass at the track.

today i was seeing about 205-210 and it seemed a bit hot to me, at one point it actually blew some fluid out the overflow bottle

temp here was about 94 degrees today.

i have an aftermarket radiator but i think it is a piece of crap

If you hit 173 after a run, then you're starting out way too cold.

To the op, i see about the same temps you're seeing or hotter, pretty much exactly what 714phil is seeing.

HP makes heat, all things being equal, an 800hp motor will make a hell of a lot more heat than a 400hp motor.

Haha, yeah, vegas had 120 deg ambient temp, so those are likely to be a bit on the high side.

What air temp sensors are you guys using, and where are they mounted?

Stop being a baby Mike Those temps are fine. How often are you blowing coolant out the overflow though?

im using a stock in the back of my manifold, but with the **baller A$$ C/F AIR manifold(hahah), i dont see very high IATs, maybe 105-110 after a run.

its only done it twice, once up here before we went to Trackday and then this last time i ran it. ireally think its this cheap *** radiator and mismatched cap as far as the overflow goes john
