Y80 transmissoin help

Default Y80 transmissoin help

i have a b16 in my hatch,but im not to sure what trans i have.i says its a Y80 but after doing a search oon the net and on honda tech i found that it could be a few diferent transmissions.if im on the highway going 80 mph my rpms are at about 4,200 rpms.my tires are 185/70/13

it's a gsr tranny for sure..from personal experience this is what i can tell u while crusing at 80mph:
b16-rpm 4500
gsr-rpm 4000-4200
ls-rpm 3500..
if urs is something in this ball park then u should be able to find out what ur tranny is.

kewl.. u should replace it with a b16 tranny though..it'll be way better for ur motor..i just got my jdm b16 tranny for $375..got if from a guy that bought it off of hmotor online and it shifts like butter..u plannin on goin to cmi soon..
