How much doesn't the EK weight?

What much does the EK or EG weight when its gutted out and track ready?

It depends on how gutted you mean. Fully gutted probably somewhere around 2,000 lbs.

It doesn't weigh 12,000 lbs.

Curb weight for a 96-00 Hatchback sits at around 2300lbs dry with no passengers.

Curb weight for a 92-95 Hatchback sits at around 2200lbs dry with no passengers.

My DX is supposedly 2242 dry, and the DX is heavier than the CX.
