what why in the hell would you want to do that the b18 is a long block and the b16 is a short block the stroke on the crank is compleaty different i mean if you couold pull it off and have the crank turn i would like to see how its done but i would never do it do a ls/vtec or if you like the b16 crank just buy a b16 block i have one for sale

I have a B20 crank that you can use stock ls/b20 connecting rods on to keep it a 1.8L. Very good condition too with low miles just collecting dust in my room...cheap!!

what!?

your an idiot

a long block means a block and head together

a short block means just the block

it has nothing to do with the size of the motor

The B20 crank is basically the same as an LS. The blocks are too. Only real diff. is the B20 has 84mm pistons and the LS is 81mm. The rods are even the same PR4. The one that I have I'll sell it for $50 plus shipping. I pulled it out of my JDM B20 to replace with a Type R crank but thats a different story.

I'm in Portland Oregon. The crank for the B20 is the same as the 1.8L LS, however, The GSR B18C crank has a smaller stroke. You get more tourqe with the LS/B20 crank.

I believe that I still have the original B20 pistons and rods aswell. You need to use the right rods for the crank(gsr/type-r rods won't work with LS crank).
