Default compression on motor only 130 all across? runs fine?

i just put a d15b2 block in my crx. i used the d16a6 head.. motor is turboed.. i just did a compression test and every cyl went only to 130 then stopped.. either my gauge is broken or that combo makes a low comp motor .. any ideas? it runs fine and dont smoke either.

I’ve seen a lot of fluctuation for different gauges, also was the engine warmed up and did you do the test with the throttle open?

With that combo you are just fine. You need consistency, not high numbers.

Do a dry and wet compression check. After dry testing, put a teaspoon of oil down the hole and run the check again. Doing each cylinder by itself and seperate, dry then wet.

If everything is good, the numbers will be the same across the board but about 10 or so psi higher than dry.
