Base timing jumper location on '99 Civic?
Hi there,
I'm hoping you can help me out with finding the base timing jumper on a '99 civic with a D16Y8, if there is one.
We just did a timing belt change and we're trying to verify if the timing is correct,
Mitchell on demand shows it under the glove box but we can't find anything. In fact I'm suprised an OBDII car has one.
I've been searching on here and all I can come up with are EG-related things.

It's the same connector you jump to get the CEL to blink. If you look up by the glove box, there should be a green rubber 'cap' which is holding the 2-pin connector you're after.
Thanks for the quick response.
I'm still not seeing this connector.
Is it on the left side (by the HVAC controls) or the right (by the dook/kickpanel)?
As soon as I can get a camera I'll take some pictures because there's 3 of us here an none of us see a green rubber plug.
There is one green connector with 5 wires going to it, it looks like it goes to something HVAC related. Obviously not it.
