Default Stick D16y8 Dizzy compatible with Auto??

Will a dizzy from a stick work on a auto?? This is for a 00 EX, I tried looking but no luck. I don't think it would work but I'm not sure.

Thanks

Yes, it will. The stock dizzy is not really related to what transmisson the car runs.

The only differences between Dizzys that you need to worry about is OBD1 or OBD2. My friends running a y7 longblock in his 92 eg hatch, that came from his sisters automatic EK, keep in mind its a 5 speed. Like i stated before, it has nothing to do with what type of transmission there is, the motor is the motor, the difference is in what trans and ecu
