any tips for a K24A?
i just bought a 06 accord and am looking to make it a little quicker. Its a 4cyl auto(i am not proud of the automatic) but i alread got a fujita cold air intake, Greddy evo 2 cat-back exhaust, and dc sport headers. Any suggestions?
I would suggest the Unorthodox Pulleys is your next bet, but besides that for the time being you are out of luck in the performance department (06 k24a8 ECU is harder to break than the 03-04 k24a4). I'm not sure if anyone has used VAFC2 on an 06 yet.
There is a guy who built a custom Kpro harness for me, and I know he is working on a 06 ECU when he gets the time to do it, if people show interest.
Might I suggest you visit http://www.gen7accord.com and sign up, not trying to advertise, but more info on 06 specific cars.
Hope this helps!

oh yeah and i would love if u could give me some info on priceing and stuff along those lines on the tranny swap!!! im tired of the auto...it puts me to sleep
For a new car its not even worth it // not even parts are out yet. Either sell the car or leave it the way it is. It was meant to be a family car, not much you can do. You could boost it but the auto tranny can only handle so much.

In your case since its nearly new and you're new to the game as far as mods, I would trade it in. It cost me 5 figures for the swap (granted there is turbo parts and install in there), but you're looking at 3-4k on new and used parts for the 5spd swap, and you need a damn good mechanic and at least 2 months of your time (took me 3).
You could take what you have on there off and put it on the new car for not very much (would even help if you could do it yourself). I would HIGHLY suggest if you want the manual that bad to TRADE IT IN. I am warning you that it will be the biggest pain in the *** and its going to constantly **** you off, even with an excellent shop doing the work.
If you cannot do the trade in, unless you want all the hassle that bad, and you have serious plans afterwards for the manual, I would suggest not going on with the swap. I wanted a turbo and i'm looking at building a whole new motor with Type-s head and new rods and pistons. If I wouldn't be taking my car that far, I would not have thought about doing that.
If you need any help at all, feel free to ask.
