Default d16y8 question

Well I'm installing some aftermarket gauges, oil psi and water temp..

My question is what is the bolt to the left of the oil filter? Can I plug my oil gauge into this? If you guys don't know what bolt im talking about I can probably take a picture.

It's your oil pressure sensor, and yes its where your wire goes for your gauge.

I thought the sensor had a plug and wire on it? or , was I reading that info for a B series? This looks like a large bolt.

Nice avatar lol

Thanks man, I'm gonna give that a go today and let you guys know how it turns out.

Any places on the block or head I can install the water temp probe besides the stock location?

Well I'm not sure what that bolt was. I found the sensor just right above the filter. Now the question is, how do I remove it? Feels like a rubber shield tightly seals it.

the sensor should just pull out, mine did. and leaving the sensor to the side is ok, that wont throw any cel.

the rusty bolt is a water drain plug ... to drain water from the block

the oil pressure switch plug pulls off....
it's a little hard to do, but it will just pull off

grab it really tight on the skinny part (or use some pliers)

Just dont rip the wire out of the plug
