Default CEL for o2 (rsx-s)

friends race header w/ o2 bung throws cel on his 06 rsx-s. but my friends 06 rsx-s w/ megan test pipe with no o2 bung doesn't throw any codes at all. anyone have idea why? i'm interested in getting test pipe or race header, but im debating weather if i should get race header or just get test pipe w/ dc shorty header...

That is wierd. Maybe your fried had a K-Pro and he doesn't know it, if he bought it used. If you get a defouler you won't throw any codes for sure.

he bought the race header used.

auto store such as autozone, or pepboys.. i think they are usually made for sparkplugs, but work either way

yeah i just picked one of those up. the o2 sensor didn't fit so i had to drill it out a little bigger. but it should work now hopefully.

That's what you have to do you have to drill one of them out and double them up and screw the o2 in the end.

so i need to put 2 of them? and the o2 sensor in the end goes on the 2 bungs?

Defouler if you don't want to make it are cheap to buy. I think you can buy them made for $20.

It's done. I actually ran 1 spark plug spacer and after 2 days it hasn't thrown a CEL code yet. So i guess everything is good now.
