Default Shifter

Can someone please tell me how to remove the shifter on the new Si's?? Its has some sort of bolt under the ****...do i turn that or is it just REALLY hard to turn the **** itself ?? Thanks

You have to undo the NUT under the **** first. The **** won't come off without doing so.

whip out the mm set dude, take u less time to find it that way than to wait on a response here.

hes got a point. i THINK i used a 10 or 12 mil
i could be totally off tho. cuz grab and try. turn the nut a quarter or half turn then the **** will twist right off

cool thanks guys...and im not getting all up set but im not being lazy i just wanted to know for tomorrow when my LAZY buddy comes by for me to help him with it...besides that cars a little pricey for me I have to just make him give me the shifter as payment for my time but yea thanks Guys

actually its a 14mm...ive taken every shift **** from an si off that came through me while doing PDI's
