how to tell if real itr motor
i bought this car he claimed it was a 96 spec jdm itr the block says b18c and its stamp HMO on both head and block but i went under the car 2day and oil pan said p72 and block right above axle said p72 is this just a cast stamp or is it a jdm gsr plz help....
Green paint by the solenoid. FTW! 
-PR3 Head
-Type R Manifold
-Type R Header
-LSD Tranny like mine.

-Check out the cams
-If you're really bored take out the head, and look at the pistons.

Your first comment I just LOL at.
And a GSR block and a Type R block are fully identical bare blocks. All Type R and GSR blocks will say P72.

Type R motor has b16 civic si head and b18 gsr block.

I guess thats one way to look at it.
Although a B16 compared to an ITR head is different.
An ITR head is mildly ported while a B16 head is not.
