Default EG hittin 10s with open Diff?

Im shooting for about 500whp this year with my EG hatch...

I plan on running 24.5x9x13 inch slicks with an LS tranny... (b16 crown and pinion)
I planned on pickin up a Quaife LSD, but im not sure now if im going to...

I have a goal of hittin 10s in the car this year...
currently my best time with 320whp was 12.02 with a 2.0 60ft
the question Is: IS it possible to hit 10s with an open Diff, big slicks and traction bars?

Any help would be great.. thanks

We ran 10.8@133 mph in an Eg with 526 hp with an open diff several years ago so I say yes it is very possible.

Saturday at Atco we had to swap in a stock tranny after we killed one during 1st round. We came back and ran a 10.55 but the car was wandering under power. You can but it is better with lsd. When we had time Sunday morning we put the Quaife in that tranny.

Seen plenty of fast cars do it...but, only a matter of time before that pin shoots out the side of the case! Get an LSD as soon as possible....Can't go wrong with a Quaife Its for life

I went 9.30's with around 550whp with an open dif and 1.5 60fts...They did break, but ran ok when they didn't. I was also using your exact same tire as well.
