All depends on what you can put up with.

I've had several tuners tell me they run stage one exedy's on their 250-300whp setups.

it's got a stock'esque feel to it.

All depends on your budget and left leg.

i´m not really into a budget since i have piece my turbo with good parts so i´m not going cheap with a clutch and flywheel. and i dont want a really heavy clutch feeling. maybe cause i have never drive a hard C. pedal before. any way keep posting. thanks.

I have daily driven everything from stock up to a 6 puck unsprung. Unsprung gets chattery in stop and go traffic. Sprung 6 puck is MUCH better for that. Honestly, get a sprung disc and get whatever else you need to hold the power. My friend's 6 puck sprung is a much smoother engagement than my old ACT HD/street strip setup.

Really can't go wrong with ACT. I guess I'm part of the bandwagon, but my ACT hasn't failed me yet. Remember you did say daily driver, so hopefully you won't beat on it everyday.

Centerforce Dual Friction, pedal feels stock, engages nice and smooth, and clamps solid when you need it to... I have been running mine for 2 years, I abuse my car like no other, and this thing feels just as nice as the day I put it in.

My experience with the Exedy Stage 1 is great! Best bang of the buck clutch for around anything under 300whp. Clutch engagement is smooth and stock like. Its only slightly stiffer than stock and feels good. But the only problem is if you are push close ot 300whp or over whp it won't hold the power and it would slip like a ****. I had a Gsr motor turbo'ed with a a Gsr tranny running at 275whp and it held great. Redid the setup and now pushing somewhere in the low 300s and it doesn't hold during hard shifts. It handled a little over 3 years of brutal abuse before it went out.

In my stock gsr civic im running the Action 2ms. Its a sprung 6puck with a pretty heavy pressure plate. I'm sure this clutch could hold the power no problem, but the pedal feel is considerablely stiff. Stop and go traffic sucks.

ACT solid hub 4 puck failed me back in the early 90s (when ACT was just a baby.) When I went to warranty it they said it said it was race only-I was street driving it.

Odds are ACT quality has gotten better, but there are so many choices out there.

So now Exedy FTW-especially if you're not concerned w/ cost.
