hey guys i just got a chipped pr3 ecu for my b16a crx, and runs like **** when i put it in reverse the check engine light and code 73 pops up (73 is #3cyl.) idk why it dose that but in 1st-5th it run good no check engine light, but its shooting out white smoke alittle not alot but some when i rev it, my stock pw0 ecu runs fine no check engine light nothing. i emailed the guy and he saying it might be the vafc2 thats causing it to run like ****. has anyone had this problem or thinks what wrong anyone...thanks!

 

shitty settings on that chip. Put your stocker back on til you can get the chipped one tuned.

 

i might just send it back and get another one from some one els or he said he will send me another one but if it still happends hes not gona take the ecu back...so idk what to do.

 

who did you get the ecu from

 

this guy on ebay, he said he has like a bunch of um...

 

search kenji and phearable on here. They both have great chipped ecu's. I dont suggest buying an ecu off ebay

 

well i checked and they only got obd1 ecus, im looking to keep it obd0...

You don't have to get a another ecu. Just contact anyone who chips obd0 like http://www.xenocron.com/ and have them burn a basemap onto another chip for you. You can't expect someone to just come up with a perfect tune for your car without a dyno though.

 

im getting a pr3 also the guy that im getting it from said that i would probibly run a little lean if that helps at all but i want to do the same thing and keep it obd0
