Default Brake Question ...

92cx car

96 Prop Valve
96 Brake Booster
96 Master Cylindar (that was found out today)
All from a RS

Will a Type R Master Cylindar bolt up? all usdm?

if you mean will it bolt to a rs booster then im pretty sure it wont. the type r is a 1inch master and the rs is 15/16. im pretty sure correct me if im wrong though.

if you get everything from the r it will work.

Type-r master cylinder is differen't. I'm not sure on the sizing, but I know it's differen't.

I hope you have the rotors/trailing arms for the rest of that conversion right?

Otherwise it's pointless/won't match.

yeah, i have all the RS brakes on my car, not the CX stuff.

will the ITR BB/MC bolt onto a EG with no issues?

if you want to put that on you have to flare your lines and bend them a little. seeing that the ports are not the same size nor same position

But then you have more likelyhood of a line leaking and the booster/mc wearing out.

yeah i looked up the info the 98-01 and the type r both have 1 inch masters, the ls/rs is 15/16

he could always make a custom line, but i know of a couple guys with that setup and have no problems
