Default I Win!!

So after all this worry about getting my lower end re-built cause I threw a rod bearing, I found a good motor and tranny REALLY cheap!!!

d16 non vTec, and auto tranny (which I don't need and will be sold) for $30 BUCKS!!!!!!

I just want to know if there is any difference between the non vTec block and the vTec block. I will obviously be sticking with the vTec head, and will be building my other motor on the side.

WARNING: I will be staying n/a for the other motor also! Can't afford a turbo setup, and don't even want to think about it!! I don't even want to tempt myself with those horsies. LOL

well like any b16 non-vtec block, you'll have to tap in an oil line. But should be the same.

Should plug right up regardless. Friend of mine has a D16y7 (obd2) in a 94 CX hatch, using the factory harness (OBD1).

Only difference for you, is that your VTEC plug wont be used. Also, your Dizzy may require some small wiring modifications, im not too sure on that tho.
