recently purchased a da9 w/ a obd1 b16a, ys1 tranny, itr intake mani, chipped p28, egay cai. this is my first manual car so im learning to drive stick with it as well. doing a lot better then i was a few days ago. now for the questions..

-what kind of intake do i get to properly fit? will a intake modeled for a 93 work fine?

-i ran with my buddy in his 06 auto gti earlier today. to my surprise i was ahead the whole time. we didnt get to far into our higher gears though. a few minutes later i was stopped at a light and i see white smoke coming from under the hood ont he passenger side. i did not my friend says it was coming out the muffler as well. this continued for about 30 seconds then went away. the car seems to be driving the same as far as i can tell. any clues on what could have caused this? anything i should look for?

-any advice on maintaining the B? i want to baby this engine.
