Default Passing emissions with turbo

Don't you have to get the ECU re-mapped or piggyback it to tune turbo, both which alter OEM specs?

Is passing emissions with turbo even possible?

Its possible if its tuned, why is the STI able to pass No seriously though, if you get it tuned and map properly, there should be no reason it wouldn't pass. Unless you live in Cali or something.

What type of engine management are you guys running? Internals? How long/how much did it take to tune?

A good tune and plenty of denatured alcohol.

If its anything like AZ you have an idle test, and a loaded cruise test, neither of which put the car into boost, so passing emmisions is pretty simple with a turbo. Any decent tune on a car will get you through.

it depends, do you plan on passing with or without the cat? and regardless of emissions, you should never boost without tuning and a means of tuning such as a piggy back or ecu.
