Cant get tie fod on??????!!!HELP ME!!

Default Cant get tie rod on??????!!!HELP ME!!

I cant get the tie rod nut on the tie rod. Everytime i try to wrench it the tie rod just goes around witht he nut. There is nothing for me to hold it with so that i can tighten the nut? What do i do?

You hold the tierod with one wrench....Tighten the nut with another.

No its the outer tie rod. The one that connects to the hub assembly.

you need air tools, its the only way i have found to get it up and somewhat tight, then you can tighten with a wrench

try a big pair of channel locks and squeeze the outer tie rod and the knuckle together and try to tighten it. also you can Pry the tie rod down with a pry bar and try to tighten it. when you squeeze the tie-rod into the tapered hole it'll tighten up and won't spin and you'll be able to tighten the castle nut on. good luck man
