What do you think guys? It's running OK, i'd like it to be better. My missing link still isn't working and i'm not getting any CEL's while boosting, dunno WTF is up with that. Still need to get new plugs. Anyone else with turbo R experience... hit me up heh.

Hahaha, suprisingly the power delivery kinda blow ***. Vtec feels a bit slower than before but power before vtec is great. I have this fluttering sound while under acceleration that I don't know where it's coming from, possibly the wastegate/dumptube. Other than that it's running okay, oil leak on the pan...

Yeah chris, lets meet up sometime, did you ever find a car?

Art, it just keeps leaking a little at a time. I had it rewelded twice, but I still can't pinpoint where it's leaking!!#$#!$!#$#$^%@^%@!^%#$%$#^#!$^%#!$%#!$%#!$ % (<-- As you can see my frustration with little things). I don't think it had anything to do with your fitting. I'm going to get a new gasket soon and see what's up with that. I bought an extra 1/2 to -10 fitting, i'm thinking about ripping everything out and trying with that.

You might want to see if the lines were installed correctly. Just sit under the car, wipe the oil line and see if you can see where its coming from.

Before this past weekend it was leaking from the 90 deg fitting coming off the turbo, I bought a new one and fixed that, now all I see oil coming from is near the weld area on the pan. It just can't be the weld because I had it professionally done at a muffler shop. I'm thinking right now it has to be the gasket. Any other suggestions art? Oh yeah, I can't SEE the leak, all I see is oil all leaking around the area.

The leak could be dripping down from a lot of places and running down tubes and other **** and only looking like its coming from where you see it. Mine was doing that. It was really a loose fitting on the block's oil line, so I tightened it. Then my turbo was leaking oil somewhere, and leaking down the return tube to the pan, and I thought it was my fitting, but it was really up by the turbo. Check simple **** like your oil filter being loose, etc..

The oil sending unit is clean, the filter is clean, the fitting on the turbo side is clean, the connections for the SS line are dry, everything is OK except the pan and the weld area.

Blitz filter? Looks GOOD! I like the "universal, cnc machined mounting brackets mounting your fmu"! (thats what we call zip ties in my little podunk town!)

Anyway I was wondering, are you stock bottom end? 11:1 cr? I have a jdm motor and am doing my turbo setup now, I am kind of nervous, my car LOVED nitrous so I hope she loves boost just as much, I guess I will find out.

What is your setup?-(12:1 fmu and stock injectors? How much boost are you running?)

have you thought about getting some turbo cams that will give you less overlap when you hit the vtec lobes?

very nice. Is that an apexi filter? Is it ok that the filter is so close to the motor?

Mine leaks too, it really sucks. I think mines is leaking out of the return bung. I think the fitting isn't sealing around the threads. Keep an eye on your oil, that kinda crap will kill your turbo/engine.

Nice setup Ed. I think you should come up here sometime to chill, 2 turbo type R's aren't bad at all.

Power loss in vtec might be caused by your cams.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Yes it's a blitz filter. I don't think its bad to have it that close to the motor.

I didn't really want to drill any holes in the firewall so thats why I mounted it on that line back there.

I'm running all the piggyback stuff, FMU/Pump...stock block and everything. 10.6:1 is the comp ratio on my motor.

I think that I can dial out the overlap with some cam gears...
