The shift pattern's exactly the same as it is on UDSM or EDM cars.
It's not different.
With your JDM GSR you can use either a JDM shift linkage or a USDM shift linkage - both will fit.

Then I don't have a clue what I was sent with this swap. The 2 bars do not fit. thanks for the help. Also how do I become a member to this forum? I have been using this site for info forever.

You're an unrestricted normal member. As for the linkages not reaching, I really can't offer an explanation, since they should work fine.
