your gonna have to find a wire diagram for that man, your missing the power wire for the antenna, thats why your deck wont make it work, your gonna need to see where the power for the antenna is on the plug from the car then find out how you can jump it into another application on the plug from the deck that turns on when you turn on the deck, other than that i dont know

u might have your antenna wire hooked up wrong. sometimes the aftermarket radio doesn't have a dedicated antenna wire it only has a remote wire. in that case, thats the wire u want to hook up to ur stock antenna wire.

You need the power wire for the antenna, I think it's the brown one with the white stripe, but you need to hook it up to the aftermarket deck, which is usually a blue wire or a blue w/ white stripe. Just look in your aftermarket deck's wiring guide. You didn't get a harness converter?

The power antenna wire for that car should be yellow with a green stripe. It needs to be connected to 12 volts, as stated above. If it is an aftermarket radio, the power antenna wire will be blue(if it has a separate output for amp turn-on) or blue with a white stripe if it only has one output. If you put in a different Honda radio that doesn't have a power antenna turn-on, just connect the yellow/green to the accessory wire (probably yellow/red).

what id do is get a switch so you can manually put it up/down so when you have a cd in you can put it down.

you should try the antenna when its down, there is an unnoticable difference with my pioneer head unit, plus it looks better down

ok...i was looking around inside the dash..took a wild guess and tried hooking the blue one to my remote wire for the sub..so now there is 2 blue wires runing into the cd player with the remote wire..and it works..i tried with it just down, and it sucked...
