Do early OBd1 motors 94 specifically use the a crank position sensor like the later obd2 motors?
Do automatic engines use the same Cams as a manual transmission engine?

I am 99% positive the crank angle sensor wasn't added until 1996; when OBDII started.
As for the cams, they are the same cams from auto to manual.
