i even swapped out the vtec solenoid with a prefectly good one
is it because of the IAT code?

no IAT will not cause other code.

The IAT is pretty delicate. Did you replace / damage it when you did the swap ?

yep it had an h22 in it already i figured i crossed the wires or something so i redid it all
and heres another thing
we swapped the wiring from the solenoid to the pressure switch
so that should throw both pressure switch and solenoid code right? no it still threw just the solenoid code

I had it wired backwards when I finished the swap and it didn't throw a code until I tried to hit vtec, and then it was only the code for the solenoid, so it may not give you both codes. Just a heads up.
