now a code 9 on 94 H22a
Well I cleaned out the filter for the vtec solenoid, and now I am getting a code 9. CYP sensor. I checked it out and all I saw was to replace distributor, now is this most likely the only fix, or sense it is a sensor code could it just be a sensor, anyone get this code and fix it?
Let me know
Thanks

Disconnect the 8 pin connector from the dizzy and measure the resistance between the last two terminals of the connector (there are 2 rows of 4 pinouts each, measure the resistance between the last top and bottom pinout).
Make sure the little notch is facing up so that you have the connector orientated the right way.
A B C D Measure between these two.

Your resistance should be from 350 - 700 ohms. if not then you will need to replace the dizzy.

Ok, well I got rid of the code 9 I had the wires going to the vtec solenoid crossed and I undid them and rerouted them and it dissapeared. The thing is is I still get a code 22(vtec oil pressure switch) and I already tried cleaning both filters and no avail so I will be replacing the switch in the morning. I think that I need to replace my distributor though, as it is now making a ticking noise and it is filled with red dust. Also the posts on the inside of the cap are all scratched up and one is really bad.
If I mark the distributor and put it back the same exact way will I need to get it timed or will I be ok?
