Its not wrong.
I have a b2 block with y7 head and have had the same setup for about 3 years. Boosted and non boosted.
And Ive had great luck with the setup.
Go back. Do it again. And get a cam gear to offset the timing difference.
No need for the shitty thumbs down when all I did was lend a hand.
Yes y7/y8/z6 belts are all the same amount of teeth. They will fit, but they will be a bit looser than the z1 belt.
B7 belt is too long. a6 belt is too long.
Happy ?

ok... i understand that he was trying to help and i really do appreciate it.... but i have a d15z1 timing belt, it is 106 teeth, and it is too long and jumps teeth on the cam gear. unless there is something i am missing(d15b2 waterpump, d15b2 tensioner, d15b2 camgear, d16y7 head) that timing belt isnt right.
how many teeth are y7/y8/z6 belts? i really hope im just missing something simple
i will try the Z1 belt again, but i dont expect anything different.

does anyone know timing belt tooth counts for sure? is it:
D15Z1....103 teeth
D16Y7/Y8/Z6....104 teeth
D15B7....106 teeth
if this is correct then stupid *** napa gave me a D15B7 belt instead.
Dr. D-series, i apoligize for napa's mistake and this misunderstanding
