Can I safely mix MTF 08798-9016 with 08798-9031?
Recently bought a bottle of MTF at the dealer and was planning to use it with a bottle that I've had kicking around for about 2 yrs. To my surprise, when I started to pour the fluid into the vehicle I discovered they were of different color and viscosity.
I checked the part numbers on the bottles and realized that the older bottle was the 08798-9016 variety while the newer one was the 08798-9031.
Does anyone know if I can safely mix these two fluids, or will that cause damage to my transaxle?
The car's sitting on jackstands right now, so a quick response will be VERY appreciated :D

I've found the new formula 08798-9031 MTF in the green-label bottle to be fairly comparable to Synchromesh.
