Default B16 or gsr head

I am currently building my ls bottom end for my 92 eg with forged rods and low comp. pistons and i plan to run 12lbs since it is to be my daily driver but I recently came across some one selling a b16 head for a reasonably low price. My delimma is wich head would be best suited for my build if some day I might want to get more out of my ls vtec. Oh I also plan on building wich ever head I go with.

A B16 head will yield higher compression and it also has smaller ports which makes air flow faster. It is laws of physics, you know when you open the door just a tiny bit,you can feel the air breeze through but you cant when its fully opened. B16A head>B18C head.

This is incorrect. gsr will have slightly higher compression due to a smaller combustion chamber. either flow very similar. Typically, I prefer b16 for n/a , gsr for f/i due to their flow characteristics, but it is very minimal in reality
