Default K swap question?

I plan on swapping a K20a2 or a3 into my 01 civic lx for my D17. What else will I have to replace for the swap? Such as, will I have to replace the tranny or throttle body, or any thing else? Also, will I be able to use my K&N intake once the swap is complete? Thanks.

nothing is compatible engine wise. youl need the engine harness and ecu out of the donor car. youl need mounts. power steering line and resevoir. youl need axles out of a civic Si(02-03). youl need a rad fan out of the same car. youl need the ecu reflashed for your civic key(make sure nothing is stolen). youl need the engine cradle/subframe off an RSX or civic Si(02-03). couple wiring differences , air/fuel ratio sensor and rad fan controls. theres info on this out there.

if your getting a K20A(type r), that is a JDM swap , and if it comes with the ecu , you wont have to worry about it , as over there , they have no immobiliser. meaning your civic ignition will still work. way easier way to go.
