Default Damn CEL wont go away

Besides all the crappy luck I been having lately with my car (check previous threads), now my map sensor is possibly done

Some highlights...

*I had an idling problem or should I say still have an idling problem, some say its the IACV and some have no clue.

*I cleaned and installed 2 IACV's and the idling still continued.

*Had new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, air filter, and pcv installed and still no luck

*I installed a OEM timing belt very recently which was needed and I thought it would fix the idling but still no luck

Now my car is giving me whiplash cause of the map sensor. Quick question, is it possible it was the map sensor all along instead of the IACV? Also, am I supposed to pull off the negative terminal before installing another map sensor? My neighbor told me I can fry it if I dont.

Can the MAP sensor be cleaned? If so with what?

I removed my old map sensor and installed another and still same problem. When I turn the key to on position, the CEL does not turn on but after I start the car it boggs a little and then the CEL turns on. I already checked the code a few times, its the map for sure
