Tach works, Lights work, Speedo doesn't work correctly, and Cruise Control light is now acting as a shift light.... What needs to be done to correct the Speedo and Cruise control?

How does the speedo not work correctly? The cruise control and shift light are on the same plug (same circuit). Disconnect the shift light plug from the cluster, since you don't have cruise control anyways.

Speedo was working on origional cluster, My current cluster came STRAIGHT out of a operational car. Speedo only goes up to like 20-30mph and kinda bounces *Which makes me thinks this is a sensor issue and not a bad cluster*

well just for the hell of it, tryyour old cluster again. If it does the same, bad sensor, if it works, your new cluster is bad.

I'm thinking its because it came from a LX Sedan with a diffrent motor, and diffrent Chassis length *Sedan* Anyone have any other ideas?

nobody is going to help you until further diagnose where the problem lies.

All there going to tell you to do is "check the wiring, check the sensor, try another one"

3 things
1. bad cluster
2. bad vss
3. bad wiring

if you changed your trans, check vss
if you changed your wiring, check wiring
but since you changed your gauge, check it.

just remove the speedo gauge from dx cluster and put it on the lx cluster. Problem solved.

cx and dx clusters are worthless anyways

it from an an LX don't mean squat. I had an LX cluster in my EX Coupe after my coupe's speedo went out and it worked perfectly. It sounds like the speedo in your cluster is bad.

Bitchen, Thank you!

Old cluster worked perfect, and no wiring changed, so I guess the Speedo is toast....

The speedometer heads on '92-95 Civics frequently fail - I used to deal with them a lot. It is not a problem with your car if the old speedo worked correctly. It is not a compatibility problem because gauge clusters are plug-and-play.

Just swap your old speedo unit into your new cluster. I usually recommend this anyway to keep the original odometer.
