ITR 5 lug conversion *VS* '05 RSX 5 lug conversion...which ones better
I can get both for about the exact same price installed on an EJ6...just wondering which one is better...in terms of...well braking...and all that.... ?
Actually now that I think about it I'm pretty sure you can't.
Well, you CAN, just a lot of modding and grinding to get a lot of parts to fit.
to the OP:
What's wrong with just going the traditional ITR brakes?
For daily driving ITR or GSR brakes or more than enough to stop your civic. As long as you have good tires.

Those were my sentiments.

You can't put RSX 5-lug on your EJ6, only ITR or CTR. They all have the same brakes, 11.1" front rotors and 10.2" rear rotors.

they are the same size so go with the integra type-r, you could usually get them cheaper, if not easier
I'm sure they're close enough you won't know the difference.
It all comes down to rotor size and piston power/brake master cylinder.
The ITR brakes will be overkill on a car so light.
Unless you're tracking it it really doesnt matter. If you were, you'd be looking at brembo's or wilwoods.
I'm trying to find the thread that showed why rsx nsx and legend brakes are not worth the headache and fabrication required to install them on a civic when integra brakes are more than enough stopping power for your streeted civic.

For everyone's sake, I'll make it clear why you can't put RSX suspension on your civic:
Civics have double wishbone suspension, and RSX's have MacPhearson suspension.

I've got the ITR 5-lug setup on my EG, and it is plenty stopping potential for that lil thing. nothing but confidence whenever i step on that brake pedal
even if the RSX ones did fit, what would be the advantage of putting em on? do they got bigger rotors or something else thats fancy?
