last night i was driving over to this my friends shop when out of no where my headlights start to dim compnents go dim and eventually the car shuts off, i get out and check my battery and its at like 10v ok so i figure dead battery, i jump start the car to get to the kids shop and run a dvom across the terminals of the battery and i get 10.5v, so i figure alternator, i get to the kids shop and run a test on the battery and alternator after charging my battery, batt. tested fine and i had no voltage sent from the alternator
does anyone know what could cause this out of no where and how i could fix this
or would just replacin the alt be my best chance
