how do you know that the car is draining the battery and that the alternator isn't doing its job? Do you have a multimeter that can read amperage, ohms and voltage? Maybe you should take your car into autozone to see if they can do an alternator check on it.

yea i think the alternator isnt doing its job.. but i checked the alternator and it still works! so i put in the alternator again and it is still draining battery.. I know that it is draining power out of the battery because it will run run until the battery is almost gone.. Any idea??

If you hope to get useful replies, then provide all pertinent information about your car and engine:

yeah it's a good idea to manually charge your battery. How often do you drive your car? Do you do lots of city driving?

This increases the emphasis on checking fuse 15, which protects not only the alternator circuit but also the VSS circuit. Click the Fuse 15 TSB in my signature.

can it simply be just the fuse being blown out or can it be a short too??

If fuse 15 is blown and it blows again after being replaced, then you have a short.
