Default check engine light.

I have a 99 gsr with ls/vtec swap. also a tuned p28. the check engine light came on and i ran the code with a stock gsr ecu. it threw a throttle position sensor, after replacing check engine light still on. Ran the codes again and it threw a crank position sensor, but my car still runs. I tried disconnecting the battery with the obd1 ecu but still no luck.maybe t is just the obd2 throwing false codes but if so why is the check engine light on with the tuned p28? anything to trouble shoot will help.

P.S. I am new to this sight but have some knowledge and experience. Willing to help with any problems I am familar with and know about.

sovled my own problem. i was runnin codes with a gsr ecu, but running ls/vtec. so it was throwing the crank sensor code because the ecu cant read a ls motor, because the crank has a longer stroke. real problem is when i pt in a new tps sensor i didnt adjust it right so after fine tuning everything went right.

how does it not make sense, i was using a gsr ecu to run codes on a ls. Because the ls crank has a different stroke the ecu was throwing another code. I realized this when i used my friends itr ecu and all it threw was a tps code and that was what is really wrong.. and damn mybad for sayin VTECH i was diff. typin to fast and not really thinkin, had a college exam. Sorry everybody who read my post and saw that **** its embarrassing. I shoulndt of even posted anything when i was in a hurry, cz **** like that point thank for pointin it out.
