Default Suspension sounds?

Whenever I go over a small bump, or I let my foot of the gas, I hear a loud 'squeak' come up from what seems to be the right front wheel. But I can't diagnose where its coming from anyone get this before?

could be a busted shock or a bad bushing somewhere...does your car bounce more than usual? if so then its probably your shock

The shock would cause a squeaking sound?

it can if its busted...does it bounce anymore than it used to before the sound...it could be a bad bushing somewhere you just need to check it out look at all the bushings and such..check out the shock and see if you see and leakage coming from it

Well, my sway bar is disconnected cause the bushigns were shot, and I never put new ones in. But it feels the same as it did when they were still attached, but I think the shocks okay cause when you push on the car, it returns with barely any bounce. But the front end does dip alot when you hit the brakes.

Something else I noticed. When its parked and you cut the wheel all the way to the left. Then turn it back to the right real fast about a half turn before its all the way to the right, it squeaks.

well if you have stock suspension on it..even if a shock is busted or is slowly going out it still wont have a lot of give in it, it will just squeak sometimes when you go over a bump or something..I had the same problem when I had stock suspension..so I just lowered it and put new shocks all around..nothing after that..like i said take off your wheels on both sides check out all the bushings and everything...could be a loose bolt who knows..anything is possible you just have to check it out yourself..when it comes to suspension there are a ton of things that could be wrong when you say you have a squeak.

take a half hour and thouroughly inspect the car you drive that you SHOULD trust with your life.. i drive like 1000 miles a week in my 95 cd7.. as soon as something ACTS like its going bad i fix or replace it.. don't procrastinate on things like your car and safety..

Turned out that the radius rod, was only attached tto the control arm wwith one bolt, oh and I put it in upside down after I finished the clutch job about 10000 miles ago.

awesome..glad to see you got that fixed..I know I hate suspension noises..I did the same thing when I did my tranny swap..I forgot to put the tap on the radius rod on the front of the car...im glad to hear it turned out to be something so simple instead of a busted shock or a bent suspension part
